How to Add Your Children

A step-by-step guide for guardians to create talent profiles for their kids.

Step 1: Sign Up as a Guardian

When you first join Jida, you'll be asked to choose your account type. Select Guardian to indicate that you're signing up to manage your children's profiles. If you've already signed up as a different account type, contact our support team to update your account.

Step 2: Complete Your Own Verification

Before you can add children, you need to verify your own identity. This means:

Filling in your personal details (name, phone number, email)
Uploading your Civil ID (front and back)
Waiting for our team to approve your verification

This step ensures that every child on the platform has a verified, accountable guardian. It's a one-time process.

Step 3: Navigate to the Children Section

Once your account is verified, go to your profile and look for the Children or My Kids section. This is where you'll manage all of your children's talent profiles from one place.

Step 4: Add Each Child's Details

For each child you want to add, you'll need to provide:

Full name — as it appears on their Civil ID or birth certificate
Date of birth — used for age verification and casting filters
Gender — helps match your child with relevant casting calls

Fill in each field carefully. This information is used by casting directors when searching for talent, so accuracy matters.

Step 5: Upload Photos for Each Child

Each child needs their own set of photos. Follow the same guidelines as adult profiles:

A clear headshot with good lighting
A full-body photo in fitted clothing
One or two casual/lifestyle photos showing personality
No heavy filters — brands want to see natural, authentic photos

Step 6: Wait for Approval

After submitting, our team will review each child's profile. This typically takes less than 24 hours. We verify the information, review the photos, and ensure everything meets our platform standards. You'll be notified once the profiles are approved.

Step 7: Your Child Gets a Talent Profile

Once approved, each child will have their own visible talent profile on Jida. Casting directors can discover them through search filters and casting calls. When a brand is interested, you'll be contacted directly — nothing happens without your approval.

You control everything

As a guardian, you are in full control. All bookings require your approval. All communication from brands goes through you. Photos and profile updates are managed by you. Payments for your children's work are sent to your account. Your child's safety and privacy are always in your hands.

Managing Multiple Children

You can add as many children as you'd like under a single guardian account. Each child gets their own independent profile with their own photos and details. You manage them all from one dashboard, making it easy to keep everything organized.
